Mental health challenges can make life’s ups and downs seem impossible. But there is real hope for a brighter and more fulfilling life. I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, licensed to treat individuals with psychiatric conditions, including prescribing and managing medications from the age of six years old and up. I have experience with children, adolescents, and adults who are dealing with anxiety, depression, ADHD, PTSD, bipolar, OCD, schizophrenia, and other disorders. My approach is to listen to you and work with you to set goals for your treatment and recovery so you can enjoy the things that are important to you. Holistic treatment includes medication, therapy, and lifestyle changes you choose to support your well-being. It is very much a collaborative approach in a supportive, judgment-free environment. I am happy to partner with your therapist and primary care provider to customize a plan to improve your life. I received my BSN at George Mason and MSN at Frontier Nursing University. Prior to nursing, I had a career as an attorney; I earned my BA at the University of Chicago and a law degree from Tulane University. At home, I spend time with my family and dogs. I love hiking, playing music, and experimenting with hands-on, creative projects like papier-mâché and textile arts. *Licensed and able to provide services in MD & WV
